VFD
Today is Vegan Fashion Deconstruction Day at Vegan Fashion Blog. This is one of my favorite days. I love taking outfits from fashion shows, and celebrity pictures and trying to veganize them. Of course, my outfits aren’t always 100% the same, but I do my best to capture the essence of the outfit in a cruelty-free way.
Before I get to this weeks VFD, I wanted to take the opportunity to tell you about a write done on Vegan Fashion Blog by Are You A Beauty entitled Beauty Blog Hunt: Looks That Don’t Kill. It is a great write-up about this blog and I encourage everyone to check it out. Ivy did a great job of capturing the ideology behind Vegan Fashion Blog and presented me a very positive way. Thanks Ivy, you are an awesome person.
I also wanted to draw your attention briefly to the shoes that I featured in Monday’s Girl Talk. They are identical to the one’s featured in Personal Shopper “Fall Must-Haves.” The only difference, the one’s I featured are cruelty- and guilt-free.
Okay, now for this weeks Vegan Fashion Deconstruction. The picture is from a Fall Fashion Week 2006 highlights listed on photobucket.

Here is my Vegan take on this style. I went with brown as opposed to black because I was having a hard time finding black boots that worked for this outfit and the brown one’s I found were perfect, as was this beautiful brown faux sherling sueded jacket with faux rabbit trim. I am loving this outfit, it captures fall perfectly from the fitted jeans to the belted shirt, knee high boots and long fitted jacket.

The beautiful coat is by Calvin Klein and can be purchased for $218.00. This BCBG Max Azria Green Chiffon Halter is on sale at Bluefly for just $69.99 and is great paired with this awesome Faux Leather Brown Belt by Roxy. These sexy slim fit Ethos Jeans in Calm are by my favorite organic jean company, Loomstate, and retail for $165.90. Tuck these jeans into these chocolate brown Mardis Gras Boots by Somethin’ Else by Skechers which can be purchased at Zappos.com and add this fashionable Brown Pockets Tote Bag by Haus of Bags and you have the perfect outfit which captures the essence of what is been viewed on the Fall Fashion runways.
