Vegan Tapas Party
It’s time for another Vegan Events Planning Friday. That’s right, on Friday’s I post on the vegan food and vegan outfit that would make for a perfect planned event. Today’s topic is Tapas party. So get ready to pour some vegan wine or make some vegan sangria and have a great time, with minimal effort.
Tapas have become extremely popular over the past five years. Tapas means appetizers, so a tapas party is all about great Spanish influenced appetizers. So here is a great menu of wonderful appetizers for your tapas party:
Olives–no tapas party would be complete without an assortment of gourmet olives. My favorites are the garlic and jalapeno stuffed green olives. They are so delish. Olives are a staple throughout the mediterranean and can be found on any table. Many groceries stores carry Spanish olives, if not try the local health food store.
In addition to having olives, one must serve an assortment of fresh sliced breads with olive oil dips.
Other “must haves” include Cold Tomato Basil Soup, Corn Arugula Salad, Finger Potatoes, Spanish Grilled Vegetables and Strawberries Dipped in Chocolate.
And, of course, the star of any good tapas party is wine. Many white wines are vegan, but make sure to inquire about how the wine is processed. Many wines are still processed using animal ingredients. Wine alone or in the form of Sangria are perfect for tapas parties. For those that don’t drink make sure you serve Juice Spritzers and sparkling water.
Today’s outfit centers around these fabulous shoes I found:
The name of these shoes is so perfect for a Tapas party. They are the Sangria shoe by Dollhouse Footwear and they scream Spanish mediterranean style. I absolutely love them.
To go with these shoes, I found these great organic white pants by Egoganik:

and this beautiful brown blazer by Rose D that can be purchased at www.yoox.com .

Top this outfit off with this great faux Snakeskin Lace-up Tote by Haus of Bags and you will be looking chic at your tapas party.
