More Beautiful Boots
I had all this great information that I saved to share with you, and wouldn’t you know it, I accidently deleted it all. I will do my best to remember some of the highlights.
First, let me start off, by saying Walmart will never be considered fashionable couture. It appears that Walmart is trying to change it’s image and wants to focus on trying to bring in wealthier patrons by making more fashionable clothing. Other than a few inexpensive staples, like socks and underwear (of course, I prefer mine organic) and maybe an occasional pair of slacker sweatpants for around the house, Walmart clothing just does not belong in the fashionable girls closet. Nor does it belong in the closet of eco-minded. Walmart has long been known for unfavorable labor practices, with most of the products being brought in from overseas. Walmart also kills the local economy, by producing cheap, mostly poor quality products. I enter the doors of this store as little as possible.
Sadly, another model has lost her life to an eating disorder. Ana Reston died on Tuesday of sepsis, secondary to liver and other organ failure as a direct result of being anorexic. I am truly sorry for her friends and relatives. I just hope that the loss of her life can save anothers, by showing them how truly dangerous it is to starve yourself.
Las Vegas is currently holding a cruelty-free fashion show. I am so excited to more and more cruelty-free fashion shows cropping up all over the place. Cruelty-free, organic and sustainable are beginning to become mainstream and that just makes me so happy.
Since, I can’t seem to remember any of the other great stuff I had saved, I guess I will just have to bore you (sarcasm) with some more ultra-beautiful vegan boots. Yeah, boots.
The first pair, are the classic pointed toe Royalty Boots by Steve Madden. I love the clean line and modest heal on these boots. You can take these boots anywhere you go.
These Pascoe Boots by Nicole have a little bit more of the rocker look that is so popular this service. Still classy enough for everyday wear, but pair them with a pair of skinny jeans and a ecological leather jacket and you will fit right in at the clubs.
I absolutely adore these beautiful black Cherise boots by Madeline. These will be my next shoe purchase.
I am so happy to see Nine West put out a great pair of nonleather boots. These Davonna2 boot are another great boot that you can either class up and dress down for a more casual look.

I love the great grommet detailing on these Zues boots by Madeline. Madeline does a great job of making boots that are vegan and totally rocker chic. These boots are Harley compatible.
Finally, I am loving these great short Patra boots by Nicole. Pair them with skinny pants or last season still popular boot cut jeans for a classy, well put-together look.

Last weekend while my dad was in the hospital, my mom and I snuck out the the Stanford Shopping Center. I don’t know how many of you have ever been there, but it is definitely a fashion heaven. We went into Armani, Gucci, Prada, Guess, Kenneth Cole, Dolce and Gabana and several more top fashion designer showrooms. It was absolutely fabulous. The only drawback was all the leather, (real) fur, wool, and silk. The clothes were absolutely beautiful though. It was a very heady experience to say the least. Since I come from a small town, we just don’t have places like that. Even in Santa Barbara, the Neiman Marcus does not compare to the Neiman Marcus in the Stanford Shopping Center. It was like two totally different worlds. If you ever get in the area, I encourage you to check it out.
