It appears that the Baby Phat coat with Faux Fur Trim that I featured in My Fur is Dead post is not indeed vegan. Apparently Baby Phat got their “Faux” fur from an Asian manufacturer who has been selling dog fur as “faux.” This is totally disgusting and sad. Apparently Baby Phat is not the only company to be dubbed with this horrific dog fur being passed off as faux fur. This has become a real problem. Therefore we will no longer post anything faux fur unless it has received the Peta and Human Society seal of approval. I am very disheartened to learn about these unscrupulous companies. It was discovered by the Humane Society. It was found to be racoon dog fur from China (and we all know how China just loves their animals - NOT!).
