More Beautiful Vegan Suits
I made it through my first week of work. I was training two hours away from my house this week and had to commute every day, so I am feeling a bit burnt, but otherwise it all went well. To finish off my salute to vegan working women week, I have a couple of more great suits to post about. I hope you all enjoy them.
This first outfit centers around this beautiful Max Mara Beige Faenza 4-button Skirt Suit. Made with an acetate/polyester blend and lined with 100% rayon, this suit has a very classic line and the light neutral color makes it perfect for spring. Switch out the traditional 4-button blazer with this stylish Nanette Lepore Peplum Suit Jacket and you an outfit neutral enough to wear to the office, but stylish enough to wear out for dinner. I love this suit jacket with the high belted waist made of a heavy cotton fabric. With this outfit I have added these cute Annie Cindy shoes, that add a little fun to this outfit and this beautiful Clarke & Mayfield Metro Mini Laptop Tote in Diamond Ivory. This is a very clean and professional look.

Okay, so this oh-so-cute Black and Pink Plaid Suit with Satin Trim by Barrie Pace may not be appropriate for all offices, but I am studying to be a psychologist, so it is definitely something that I can wear to work once I finish my PhD. I love the retro cut, fitted jacket and pink trim. This suit is sooooo cute.
A Vegan Fashion Blog reader ordered the Tommy Hilfiger shoes posted 1/27/07 and with great disappointment found that they had a leather outsole (not mentioned anywhere in the description). I appreciate you all communicating with me and will continue to post any updates that we receive regarding hidden leather in seemingly “vegan” shoes. The RSVP and Nine West shoes posted on 1/29/07 were also found to have leather, but the retro MUDD Kilgore shoes, as well as all the Lifestride shoes, completely vegan. So yeah for a couple of very classy shoes finds for all you working gals out there.
Another reader came across these cute Pauline Boots by Bebe. She stated that many vegan shoes are designed for older women (I agree, one of the main reasons I try to search out of the box), but she really loved these Knee High Microfiber boots.
Unfortunately, I doubt they are vegan since they state that they have a 4-inch patent heel (more than likely not synthetic). I suggest that she check out the very beautiful BCBGirls Kerrye boots, A. Marinelli Pady Boots, or the Moda Spana Niko Boots. All great boots with a nice stretch manmade upper. Good luck!
