Organic Summer Tanks

Okay, I have found a couple of great organic tops perfect for summer. Time to show off all that hard work that you have put into making your arms gorgeous for tank top season. These great tanks, will do just that, plus that won’t leech horrible toxins into your skin when out in the heat.

I totally love this Sleeveless Criss Cross Top by Maggie Organics. The criss cross across the middle is very figure flattering and will make you appear way thinner then your are. This shirt can be worn as is, or through it under a light blazer to wear to the office.

And how about this adorable Ecoganik Kalliope Voile Tank. It is sooo fashionable and so cute. The light organic cotton material will definitely keep your cool on those hot summer days. I particularly love the green. Pair this tanks with shorts or a cute skirt for daytime wear, or pair them with a pair of skinny jeans once the sun goes down, either way you will be totally fashionable.

For those of you who are looking to save a couple of dollars while saving the planet, there is a website called Personal Closet where people can buy and sell gently used clothing and the service is absolutely free. The icing on the cake, they are getting ready to add a vegan category, for all us friends of the animals, so we can shop or sell beautiful vegan fashion. I will keep you updated on when they have added the vegan category. In the meantime, shop away for great recycled fashion items to do your part to reduce our burden on the planet.

Hope you are having a great week. It is almost Friday, yeah! I am looking forward to the holiday weekend, even though I will be going to school on Monday and Tuesday. At least it will be a change of pace.

We can all do our part to save the planet! Some of us Australian fashion designers have just developed ‘organic leather’! The leather comes from cows that have died of natural causes. This means no suffering for the cow and less pressure on our fragile atmosphere!

We have some beautiful designs in both beltbags and mini skirts! Guilt-free fashion!

A designer must follow specific requirments to construct a good style. The Sleeveless Crisscross and the Ecoganik Kalliope Voile Tank are elegantly crafted. They will flatter the face and body and will be a success. To top that these garments are made from organic materials. This is a plus to be able to support the environment. Save the plant. A series of small steps really can add up to a big global change.

I love the idea of organic fashion. I think that it’s a great way to preserve the earth. The clothing is light weight and very stylish. I like the idea that you can dress up and down with the organic tank tops for summer. The colors chosen for the tops are also earthy which gives more meaning to organic clothing, I think. I love earth tones myself, so I would buy clothing like this anyday. The organic cotton that it is made from is interesting to me, I learned by reading this blog that certain clothing items put toxins into your pores. I will definately be more aware of that next time I go shopping to look for things such as this.

Great minds think alike: I was just looking at the Maggie Organics tops at Amazon. They look so soft and cute!
