Okay, I know it has been a couple of days, but since I have made the final decision to stay in school I have had a ton of homework to do the past week. But the good news is I only have two classes left to complete and then my dissertation and internships. That is, of course, once I pass my comps which I will be handing in a couple of days from now.

But in between research, reading, and writing I couldn’t help but sneak in a little virtual shopping. I am on the hunt for awesome summer shoes. I have yet to update my summer shoes from prior to becoming vegan. I promised myself I wouldn’t throw shoes out unless they wore out because it just seemed like such a horrible thing to do to an animal who sacrificed its life so I could have shoes. Well my favorite slip on sandals finally wore out and it is definitely time to replace them. My black slides didn’t quite make it through last year. I only have one pair of sandals left that are even worthy of putting on my feet, besides my new Xhilaration Tessie Polkadot Wedges.

I have come across a wonderful assortment of great vegan shoe options for summer. Today I will present my top ten. Look for other fabulous shoe finds throughout the rest of the week. But for now, I present to you my Top Ten Favorite Vegan Summer Shoe Finds:

No vegan shoe collection is complete without a great pair of Charmone shoes. I absolutely love these Charmone Longwings. The fabric and color are perfect and I love the chunky heel. This is such a classic style shoe for summer.

I think these Delicious Adam Wedge Sandals are my favorite of the favorites. I love, love, love the color. I am not always into white or cream colored shoes, but the color with this style shoe is such a perfect match. These are my must have shoes of the summer. If I get the new job I am interviewing for tomorrow these shoes will be mine as a celebration to myself.

These Etienne Aigner Ciera shoes scream Roman Toga Party to me. I love this style. A nice dressy flat that would be cute with either shorts or a dress. Perfect for adding a little sparkle to your casual summer outfits.

I love the rich color of these Lifestride Jazmin Sandals. I think it is actually the color that sold me on them and put them on my top ten list. The style’s not bad either! But I really love that color.

For something a little dressier, these Madden Girl Prize Strappy Wedges are so hot. Great black faux patent leather! These shoes will dress up any outfit.

I love the interesting design of these Rampage Dahlia sandals. These shoes are like casual meets dress up. Love the silver circles in the middle.

These Rampage Tempo Wedge Thongs are so fun. I love the bow and the dangly jewel. When you are looking for something casual to wear to a pool party, these are the shoes.

These Steve Madden Blay heeled thongs are another one of my favorites. I love the color, it reminds me of a hairclip for some reason. They also come in red, but I truly love this marbley brown color.

These Unlisted Dress Me Up shoes are the perfect replacement for the black shoes that I need to replace. Nothing fancy, just a nice simple elegant looking sandal that provides a slimming effect for your feet.

My final pick are these great Volatile Misty Peeptoe Wedges. The muted table cloth design makes me think of going on a picnic. Very retro in style, these shoes would be great with a cute halter summer dress.
